As Owner of Downbeach Deli, as well as throughout his incredible 28 years in the business, Mr. Hammerschlag has consistently demonstrated the dedication and diligence necessary to be successful in the business world.
Established in 1982, Downbeach Deli is a full service Jewish delicatessen which offers in-house dining, take-out, party trays and platters. 95% of the food served to customers is cooked and prepared on premises. They carry a wide variety of cold cuts, salads, cheeses, hot food, bagels and breads. Downbeach Deli serves breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Robert is responsible for managing all major aspects of the business as well as running the daily operations. During his educational career, he earned a Bachelor's Degree in Economics while studying in South Africa. Mr. Hammerschlag is a Board Member of Jewish Family Services
